Frequently Asked Questions Courses in Hong Kong Our National Safety Council (NSC) USA programs are well established and received in Hong Kong. Advance booking is recommended. ECT-HK provides a fully equipped training center conveniently located in Central district on Hong Kong Island.
Course Materials The National Safety Council USA student manuals are updated with the latest medical knowledge and techniques containing comprehensive and accurate first aid/CPR information. More than 70 first aid-related organizations have contributed to and/or reviewed Council's programs.
ECT-HK Instructors Instructors are experienced nurses registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. Accordingly, our Instructors have Hong Kong hospital working experience and fully understand accident and emergency procedures in Hong Kong.
Certification Students attending NSC USA programs are required to score 80 percent in a written test in order to qualify for certification. ECT-HK is the only organization authorized to issue National Safety Council (USA) first aid and CPR certificates in Hong Kong, Macao and China.
About NSC USA Certificates National Safety Council (USA) certificates have an individual serial number recorded by ECT-HK. Your First Aid and CPR certificates will be forwarded by mail within 10 days on completion of the course.
Lost Certificates In case of a lost certificate we will issue a replacement(s). A fee of HK$100 is charged.
Course Fees ECT-HK's course fees include the NSC student manual, materials and the processing of certificates mailed to students. No hidden fees or extra charges. Our fee structure has been the same since 1995.
Course Dates and Times The busy Hong Kong lifestyle makes it difficult for us to schedule course dates and times to suit everybody. We ask you be as flexible as possible. If you signed up for a scheduled course and are unable to attend or miss one of the course sessions we will schedule you onto the next course or an alternative course session in order to catch-up the missing class.
Refunds We do not refund course fees. If you have enrolled for a course and are unable to attend we will schedule you onto next available scheduled course.
